Advance Lamb Milk Replacer is an instant mixing, all-milk protein, complete first feed for lambs. It provides the entire nutritional requirements of the baby lamb from its second day of life through to weaning. Acidified to prevent bacterial spoilage once reconstituted giving mixed milk a shelf life of up to 24hrs. Contains emulsified fats, supplemental vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Formulated to meet all the nutritional requirements of the lamb and to allow maximum growth rates when fed ad-lib.Feeding Instructions:Mixing Directions - Mix at a rate of 2lb per gallon of water or 4oz of Lamb Milk Replacer with 1 pint of water.
Feeding Directions:Ensure that the baby lamb receives colostrum during its first 12 hours of life.
For best results, mix Lamb Milk Replacer with cold water and offer ad-libitum to lambs through a suitable nipple feeder. Milk should be available at all times. Milk will stay fresh up to 24 hours due to the addition of unique acids and preservatives.
For hand feeding with a nipple bottle or restricted feeding offer milk warm at 100 degree F. It is recommended to offer 3 to 6 feedings per day of warm milk during the first two weeks of life and thereafter 2 feedings per day. Never offer more than 1/2 pint per feeding.
Provide good quality lamb creep at 3 to 6 days of age and restrict hay intake to the amount a lamb will eat in an hour.
